Shipping Policy

FLORADESIGN INDIA PRIVATE LIMITED ("The Flora") ships fresh flowers, arrangements, and subscriptions. Since our products are perishable and freshly cut or arranged close to your delivery date, our shipping process works a little differently from regular e-commerce shipping. Here's everything you need to know:

1. Order Processing Time

Orders are processed on the day they are placed. Flowers are sourced, cut, and arranged specifically for your delivery date, so we don't hold pre-made inventory. Once your order is confirmed and payment is received, our florists begin preparing it in time for your chosen delivery date.

2. Delivery Time

  • Regular orders are delivered anytime between 7:00 am and 9:00 am on the delivery date. We'll call you a day before to confirm.

  • If you need a specific delivery time slot, this can be arranged as a special/paid delivery — reach out to us in advance and we'll do our best to accommodate it. Outside of a paid special delivery, we cannot guarantee an exact delivery time.

3. Same-Day Delivery

  • Same-day delivery is available.

  • To place a same-day order, you'll need to order at least 4 hours before your intended delivery time.

  • Same-day and specific-slot deliveries currently need to be placed over a call — you can reach us at +91 96636 99369.

  • A service fee of Rs 150 per delivery applies to same-day/scheduled slot deliveries.

4. Areas We Deliver To

We currently deliver across most pincodes in Bangalore, Delhi, and Hyderabad. Please share the complete address and a working phone number for the recipient at checkout to ensure smooth delivery — our team may call to confirm the address if needed.

5. Delivery Charges

  • Standard delivery is free of charge.

  • Same-day/scheduled-slot deliveries carry a service fee of Rs 150 per delivery.

  • If a delivery attempt fails because no one was available to receive it (even after prior confirmation), a re-delivery charge of Rs 250 per attempt will apply.

  • If an incorrect address is provided and we're unable to reach the recipient to confirm it, the sender will be charged for the delivery attempt regardless of whether it was completed, due to the perishable nature of our products.

6. Delivery Confirmation

We usually call to confirm before heading out for the day's deliveries, and will only attempt delivery at a time you've confirmed in advance. You can also choose to have the order delivered to a security guard or neighbour if the recipient may not be available.

7. Missed or Delayed Deliveries

  • If a delivery cannot be completed due to unforeseen circumstances (weather, natural disasters, strikes, force majeure events, etc.), we will re-attempt delivery as soon as possible.

  • If a delay is caused by the recipient's unavailability or an incorrect address, we will still do our best to deliver the flowers, but we won't be able to offer a refund for that delivery, and any subsequent delivery attempt will be chargeable.

8. Subscription Deliveries

  • Flower subscriptions are delivered weekly, with 4 deliveries considered per subscription month.

  • A 3-month subscription includes 12 deliveries; a 6-month subscription includes 24 deliveries.

  • Delivery timing and confirmation calls follow the same process as regular orders.

9. Packaging

  • Cut flowers are wrapped in high-quality paper that protects them and keeps them fresh in transit.

  • Arrangements are wrapped in fine-quality burlap to hold their shape.

  • Every order includes flower food to be added to the vase water for extended freshness.

  • Our packaging is predominantly recyclable; non-recyclable material is used only where necessary to protect the blooms in transit.
