Tulips

Bunch of 10 or 20 fresh tulips wrapped in brown paper with floral art. The flowers are accompanied by flower food and a care card with flower care tips to help you take better care of your flowers and prolong their life.

You might want to keep an arrangement of just these fine tulips or pair them up with a small bunch of gypsophila. You can also order two bunches and use different fillers to create two different arrangements on your own.

These flowers bloom on large bulbous plants and often carry about six petals on each bulb. Historically, they are considered a symbol of the Ottoman Empire. Most of the finest tulips are grown in Holland, and in the 17th century they were so popular that people sold off their possessions to buy them. That event is called Tulipomania.

Tip: The flower derives its name from the Turkish word ‘tulbend’ for turban.
